Research Field: Plant Science – Experimental Biology
Topic: Study of hormonal responses to abiotic stress in plant roots and shoots
Supervisor: Prof. Peter Hedden
Profile of the candidate:
- MSc. in Experimental biology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or related field of study
- the PhD student will be trained in scientific approaches as diverse as genetic, molecular and physiological methods, including micrografting, RNA-sequencing, yeast 2-hybrid and chromatin immunoprecipitation sequencing.
- active communication in English (written and spoken)
- basic experience in presenting scientific results
- ability to work on assigned research activities and solve research tasks under the guidance of a supervisor and consultant
